AMC Ambassador Super Six 1959

€ 17.000,00 incl. VAT

The 1959 AMC Ambassador marks an important year in AMC history. After the merger of Nash and Hudson in 1954, the Ambassador became the flagship of American Motors Corporation. 'Super Six' refers to the legendary 195.6 cubic inch (3.2L) inline-six, an engine known for its reliability and economy. This imposing sedan measures almost 5.2 metres and offers a spacious interior with the distinctive 'Twin Travel Beds' - the front seat could fold down into a sleeping space. 1959 was the last year for this body design before the complete 1960 redesign. The blue paint accentuates the horizontal chrome lines typical of the era.
